About Us
There are more than 12 Lakhs Keralites living in Bangalore . As a premier organization of Keralites , we represent the whole Malayalees in Bangalore.
Kerala Samajam has 9 Zone Committees across Bangalore through which we do our activities in Bangalore. Ulsoor , Cantonment, East , City , Malleswaram ,
Magadi Raod,Peenia,Whitefield & Krishnarajapuram are our zones covering most of the area of Bangalore. We have a good team of youngsters working under
our Youth Wing and ladies under Ladies Wing .
Kerala Samajam has contributed in the areas of Education and Social Services .Samajam has been the trend setter in the field of Education in Bangalore by
setting a chain of Education Institutions across Bangalore under KNE Trust formed in 1966 by Kerala Samajam decades ago .We have 11 institutions in 5
campus . Around 4000 students and 250 staff under our education institutions . We encourages the meritorious students by giving various scholarships and
also takes care of the financially weaker students by giving fee concessions.
We are into social activities like Free Medical Camps , Blood Donation Camps , Eye Camps and help to the needy people etc ..
We are supporting poor children for their education by sponsoring their fees,books and uniforms every year . We do conduct Kannada and Malayalam classes
to educate our young generation in these languages . And conduct seminars and symposiums in various subjects including communal harmony.
Kerala Samajam is now conducting a Training program for Civil Services Examinations for the young aspirants in Bangalore . We have 69 students got selected to
Civil Services during last 4 years . Last year we have 26 students got selected to civil services from our Academy . Our Academy is located at KNE Trust ,
Indiranagar Campus.
We are running an Ambulance service with the support of Hon. Krishnarajapuram MLA Sri. BA Basawaraj , which we have rented service to more than 600 people
which is managed by our East Zone.
We have started a Dialysis Unit for the kidney patients in Bangalore which is at Specialist Hospital , Kammanahalli. We have done more than 4000 dialysis
during last two years .
We have taken the lead in developing the Banaswadi Railway station. And with the help of Hon Member of Parliament Sr.PC Mohan, we are able to start a
reservation counter also. We do take the lead on travel issues of Keralites living in Bangalore.
Kerala Samajam is actively promoting art and culture in Bangalore . Youth Festival, Pookkalam Competitions , Painting Competition , Thiruvathira Competition , Job fair ,
Women’s day celebrations , Seminars , Onam Celebrations, Mohinyatta Mahothsavam, Film Festival etc …
We have started our second Ambulance service in January 2018 sponsored by Dr.Roy CJ , Chairman , Confident Group which is managed by our Peenya Zone.
We are starting 3 more dialysis centers managed by in three location . Cantonment Zone and Magadi Road Zone will run one center at Mathru Hospital, Basaveswara
Nagar with two machines . KR Puram Zone will run one center at Lakshmi Hospital , Kagadasapura with 2 machines and Ulsoor Zone will run a center at Sujatha Hospital with two machines.
Samajam is working on to start a Pain & Palliative care support (home care) in Bangalore .
